# Pause, edit and stop a campaign

> Change a running campaign, or pause, stop or delete it

## Pause and resume

Select **Pause** to stop queued messages from going out. Select **Resume** to carry on.

## Edit

Open the campaign's **Settings** to change its configuration, message sequence or schedule.

* While a campaign is **Running** or **Paused**, you can change everything except its audience. You can still remove people it hasn't written to yet in **Audience**.
* Once it's **Completed** or **Stopped**, only the name and reply agent can change.

## Stop

Select **Stop** to cancel everything still queued. This can't be undone.

## When a campaign pauses itself

A campaign pauses itself when it can't send, for example when none of its accounts is still connected, or when your plan ends. The campaign shows the reason. Fix it, for example by reconnecting the account, then select **Resume**.

## Delete

In the campaign's settings, select **Delete campaign**. This deletes the campaign and everything still queued. Messages already sent can't be taken back.
