# Overview

> The API for your ReachHunt workspace

The ReachHunt API gives your own apps and scripts programmatic access to your workspace: accounts, conversations, messages, lead lists, campaigns, tags and statuses. ReachHunt works on X and LinkedIn, so every item carries a `platform` of `x` or `linkedin`.

> [!TIP]
>
> Working in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor? Connect the [MCP server](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/integrations/mcp-server.md) and use ReachHunt without writing code.

## What you can build

> **[Sync your CRM](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/webhooks/overview.md)**
>
> Send replies, status changes and deal values to your own CRM as they happen.

> **[Alert your team](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/webhooks/events/campaign-lead-replied.md)**
>
> Post to Slack or email when a lead replies to a campaign.

> **[Reply with your own AI](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/webhooks/events/message-received.md)**
>
> Get each new message as it arrives, and answer it with your own model.

> **[Run outreach from your app](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/api-reference/campaigns/list-campaigns.md)**
>
> Build lead lists and start campaigns from your own product.

## Base URL

```txt theme={"system"}
https://api.reachhunt.ai/api/v1
```

## Make your first request

[Create an API key](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/developer-api/authentication.md), then list your connected accounts:

```bash cURL theme={"system"}
curl "https://api.reachhunt.ai/api/v1/accounts" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
```

Every response uses the same envelope:

```json theme={"system"}
{
  "status": true,
  "data": [
    {
      "id": "4f1c9a2e-6b7d-4c3a-9e51-0a8b7c6d5e4f",
      "platform": "x",
      "handle": "acmecorp",
      "status": "connected"
    }
  ],
  "error": null
}
```

The response is shortened here. [List accounts](https://docs.reachhunt.ai/api-reference/accounts/list-accounts.md) shows every field.
